Chinatsu is our Japanese babysitter in Osaka and Kyoto. She has been a kindergarten and elementary school teacher since 2010. Recently moved back from the US, she is currently able to babysit from late afternoon to evenings both in Osaka and Kyoto. She has gained a lot for the past 15 years in childcare and education (Australia for 3 years, UK for 6 months. US 2.5 years and 6 years in Japan), she is very willing to offer her skills and experiences to many families visiting Japan while they are visiting Osaka and Kyoto. Chinatsu is the best!! We loved having her watch our 2 year old son, Sebastian. You can tell very immediately that she has a ton of experience caring for kids. She made our son feel super comfortable right away. She was very communicative with us with updates while we were out. She followed our nightly routine and with no problems and our son loved her. I highly recommend Chinatsu to anyone.

We had the absolute privilege of having Chinatsu as our Nanny on 2 x occasions whilst we were in Japan for our little 7-month-old baby, Oliver. Chinatsu was so lovely! She was great with Olle, she played with him, bathed him, fed him, and put him to bed. You could tell instantly that Chinatsu is super experienced with babies, which put us totally at ease. Chinatsu’s English was fantastic, if that’s something you’re concerned about, and her overall communication was amazing. We feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful babysitter for Ollie, and enjoyed having 2 x date nights on our beautiful trip to Japan! Thank you Chinatsu!
