Mai is from Norway currently living in Tokyo on a Working Holiday Visa. Her childcare experience began in high school, where she regularly babysat for multiple families over a three-year period. Thanks to positive word-of-mouth, she was often recommended to new families. She really enjoys being active with children, using games and creative play to build trust and connection, while always maintaining a responsible and caring approach. She is very comfortable from even a few weeks newborns to infants as well as active toddlers up to school children. Her availability is up to 2026 March but she would like to help as many families as possible while she is here in Tokyo. Flexible and reliable!

Could not recommend Mai more highly.
We have never used a babysitters before but wanted to go out to dinner while on holiday in Japan.
Mai made us feel completely comfortable and that she was more than capable of looking after our 10 month old baby.
Mai was brilliant she played and read to our baby for a while before getting her feed and down to sleep.
