  We are so grateful to Shalom for stepping in to help take care of our three kids on short notice. By the end of the first day, she had already built such a strong connection with them, they felt comfortable enough to hold her hand and even climb on her, which we’ve never seen them do with anyone else. Shalom is not only incredibly warm and kind but also highly capable and thoughtful. She even helped get the kids to sleep before leaving and checked in with us afterward to make sure everything was alright. Her care and attention to detail truly set her apart. We highly recommend Shalom to anyone looking for an exceptional caregiver. She’s amazing!

  We had the pleasure of having Shalom care for our child during our recent trip to Japan, and we couldn’t have been happier with her services. She was punctual, kind, and so much fun to be around. Our child, who is usually very selective about strangers, took to her immediately and genuinely enjoyed their time together.

  As Americans traveling abroad, it was incredibly helpful to have someone who not only provided excellent childcare but also knew the best local spots for children. The photos Shalom took and shared of our child were absolutely adorable and are memories we will treasure.

  If only she were in Boston—she would be our go-to nanny without hesitation! We are so grateful for her help and hope to cross paths with her again in the future.

  Shalom took care of two of our children age 8 and 11 today. To use the words of my elder one, best baby sitter, ever! They came back with a huge smile on their faces and lots of local Japanese traditions to tell us about. She is absolutely fluent in both English and Japanese, and born and bred here. On time, and flexible (we had to change our plans suddenly), she kept us in the loop with what they were up to, photos and co. Super!
  Full thumbs up, we would user her services again in a heartbeat. Thank you Shalom!!!

  Shalom watched our 20 months old son for several days while we attended a conference in Kyoto. She was very professional, punctual and flexible when we needed to make some adjustments to the schedule. Our son warmed up to her really quickly (which he doesn’t usually do with strangers) and really enjoyed spending time with her. She was very attentive and kind to him. She was even able to get him to nap while his sleep schedule was off due to jetlag. Would definitely hire her again if we are back in Japan.

  Shalom was exactly what we needed. We recently moved to Okinawa and have several friends visiting the mainland that we’ve traveled to see. Our son is 11 months old and our first so are still a bit nervous leaving him behind. Shalom immediately put my husband and I at ease: She watched our son two nights in a row and he took to her immediately, I couldn’t recommend her more and will definitely request her when we are back in the area.

  Shalom was fantastic. She was on time, a great communicator (English but speaks Japanese as well) and importantly put us at ease as our 16 month old felt comfortable and engaged with the time she had with Shalom. We would highly recommend her for anyone needing support during your Japan stay.

  Shalom was amazing. Being completely bilingual in English and Japanese, she took our 9 and 10 year olds out on a day trip to Kyoto. For them it was the best day of our Asia stay. Shalom kept updating me throughout, sending pictures and updates, following my recommendations beautifully and also incorporating her ideas being a local. She is super reliable, funny, caring and absolutely organized showing me detailed receipts of their spendings from the day. I would hire her immediately again if I am back in Japan.

  Shalom was on time and confident and did a great job with my two young children, even though they were hot and tired from a long day. They were happy when I got back and she gave me a detailed report of everything they did.
