AYes. You can request our assistance as many times as you wish. Please note that membership registration is only available to residents of Japan. You can become a member only after submitting a membership application and receiving our official approval. We may deny your application/membership before or after you become a member.
QCan I try it out for the first time and use it for just one hour?
AYes, you may use our service for one hour only, but you will be charged for 3.0 hours.
QIs it possible to be put on a waiting list?
AYes. We may not be able to find a babysitter who matches your requirements immediately. In such cases, we will take some time and contact you again as soon as we find a suitable one.
QDo you have insurance?
AYes. We have liability insurance, which covers our legal liability in the event of an accident caused by the carelessness of the babysitter or in the event of bodily injury or property damage to children during the performance of our duties.
QI live in a rural area, can I still receive services?
AWe offer our service in mainly in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. We may be able to make arrangements in other areas, so please feel free to contact us for more information.
Q Will you also do the housework?
AWe are not able to offer tasks that may affect childcare operations, such as cooking, cleaning with a vacuum cleaner, cleaning the bathroom, or washing clothes other than children's clothes. We are happy to perform tasks related to your child's care, such as heating meals, washing dishes, cleaning up toys, and washing soiled clothes.
Q Will you provide toys or story books as we don't have any?
A No. We do not bring any items such as toys or story books on the day of service so please kindly prepare on your own if necessary.
QI'm traveling abroad and would like to have someone to accompany me for about a week, is that possible?
AYes. If the babysitter's schedule allows, it could be possible. If one babysitter cannot cover the whole week, we could arrange more than one babysitter.
Q Can you go shopping?
AYes. Our babysitter can go shopping with your child as long as you inform her of the list of items to be purchased and the name of the store, and give them the necessary payment.
QCan I ask for help when my child is sick?
A Currently, we are unable to offer our services when your child/children or any of your family members is ill to avoid further infection to our babysitters.
Q Can I ask for school drop-offs and pick-ups?
A Yes. Of course, we can do pick-ups and drop-offs.
QIs it OK to make a last-minute request on the same day?
AYes. Please feel free to contact us. We will check the availability and let you know if we could arrange one shortly.
Q Can I use a discount coupon?
ADiscount coupons are not applied.
Questions About Babysitters
QIs it possible to communicate directly with your potential babysitters online before making an official reservation?
AWe do not offer free online meetings with our babysitters in advance. If you would like to learn more about our babysitters, you may check their profile videos on their individual introduction pages.
QCan I try several babysitters before deciding our regular babysitter?
AYes, you may. Please pick a babysitter that best suits your needs. However, your favorite babysitter might not be always available.
Q Do your babysitters speak Japanese?
ASome of our babysitters do speak Japanese but others do not. If you have any communication difficulties, please contact us directly. We will be happy to translate directly on the spot.
Q Do the babysitters ever go back to their home countries?
AYes. We will let you know in advance when the babysitters will return to their home countries for a short period of time, or when they will be leaving the country permanently. Please understand that it may take some time to find a replacement babysitter.
QWhere are your babysitters coming from?
A We have babysitters from all over the world, including the U S, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, England, Ireland, South Africa, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan.
QI would like a babysitter whose native language is English. Is it possible to request babysitters only from North America?
AWe will take your requests into consideration to the greatest extent possible, but we understand that it may take time to find a suitable babysitter if you are overly concerned about nationality. Almost all of our babysitters are very fluent in English, so we would like you to meet a variety of babysitters regardless of their nationality.
QI am inquiring on behalf of my boss at work, can I make a reservation?
AWe accept initial inquiries from secretaries or agents. However, please kindly ask your boss or client to contact us directly and make official reservations.
Questions About Fees
QI would like to use your service for the first time, but I am not sure of my plans yet. Will there be a cancellation fee?
ADepending on when you make a cancellation. If you cancel 72 hours or before your booking, there is no cancellation fee. We will reimburse the deposit 100%. For more details, please kindly refer to our fee page.
Q What about payment for separately purchased meals and snacks for the children?
AWhen our babysitter purchases meals or snacks for your child, please kindly give cash to the babysitter at the end of the service along with her transportation.
QIf she has to miss the last train, do I have to pay for a cab?
APlease kindly arrange a taxi and send our babysitter back home safe. It is always payable with your taxi app (Uber/Taxi Go).
QOur home is far from the station, can you send a babysitter?
A If your location is farther than 1.5 km from the nearest train station (more than a 15-minute walk), please kindly have her take a cab or pick her up and drop her off at the station.
QI live far away, is it possible to make a request?
A If the commute time of the assigned babysitter is more than one hour, an extra fee will be charged. If the commute is 2 hours one way, the round trip is 4 hours. Thus an additional fee of 2 hours will be charged.
Q Do we pay for the babysitter's meals?
A No. You do not have to worry about our babysitter's meals. Some of our babysitters may have dietary restrictions.
